WBSEDCL Tenders Rs 146.53 Cr Underground Power Project for Jalpaiguri

The West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company (WBSEDCL) has floated a major tender worth approximately Rs 146.53 crore to transform the existing overhead power network in the Jalpaiguri district into a modern underground cable system.

Backed by the Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SASCI) scheme, this initiative aims to overhaul local municipal utility frameworks, significantly boost safety standards, and deliver reliable, uninterrupted power to local residents and businesses. Interested contractors must submit their formal bids by October 28, 2026.
